I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to slow down, breathe, and discover new ways of moving through life’s challenges. Whether I’m working with children, teens, adults, couples, or families, my goal is always to create an atmosphere where people feel understood, supported, and encouraged to grow. Much of my work focuses on helping clients manage the weight of depression and the grip of anxiety. These struggles can feel isolating and overwhelming, but together we approach them step by step. I often draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients untangle negative thought patterns and build healthier coping strategies. I also incorporate somatic practices that reconnect the mind and body, which can be especially effective for both depression and anxiety. When working with phobias or fears, I utilize exposure therapy enhanced by virtual reality, allowing clients to safely face real-life situations and build confidence in overcoming them. I also enjoy working closely with parents and couples, supporting them in building stronger relationships at home. Parent Management Training (PMT) through the Kazdin method offers families practical, research-based tools for addressing challenging behaviors in children, while the Gottman Method provides couples with concrete strategies to deepen communication and strengthen their bond. With experience across school, clinical, and private practice settings, I have supported clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, ADHD, relational stress, and more. I strive to create a warm and supportive environment where clients feel both understood and empowered to make meaningful change. Whether you are coming in as an individual, a couple, or a family, therapy with me is a collaborative journey—one where challenges are met with compassion, evidence-based tools, and even moments of humor along the way.
