Crown Counseling is a private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care to our diverse community. We’re seeking a Clinical Lead Supervisor to guide our team while upholding our values of measurable results, high quality, and accessibility.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Head Supervisor will oversee clinical operations, support and supervise therapists, and ensure adherence to professional and regulatory standards. This role fosters a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, aligning with our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Support: Provide individual and group supervision, monitor clinical performance, and offer guidance on ethical and clinical issues. Conduct supervision meetings, review clinical notes, and ensure documentation compliance.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices. Monitor documentation and implement clinical policies and procedures.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training in services. Mentor new clinicians and provide orientation.
Client Care: Conduct intake sessions and assign referrals. Ensure accurate diagnoses, and treatment plans, and handle client-related issues.
Administrative Duties: Collaborate with administrative staff, contribute to strategic planning, and run monthly team meetings. Make clinical policy decisions and manage day-to-day clinical operations.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology, or Social Work.
Valid unrestricted license (Ph.D., Psy.D., or LCSW) in New York State.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and prior supervisory experience.
Willingness to be credentialed with insurance payers.
Skills:
Strong understanding of clinical supervision and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
