Flatbush is one of Brooklyn's most diverse neighborhoods, home to large Caribbean, South Asian, and Orthodox Jewish communities. Crown Counseling's multicultural team is uniquely equipped to provide therapy that respects and incorporates these cultural backgrounds. Our location on Carroll St is easily accessible from Flatbush via the 2/5 subway line or the B44 bus along Nostrand Ave. We offer individual, couples, family, and child therapy for Flatbush residents.
Getting to our office
The 2/5 train provides a direct 10-minute ride from Flatbush to our office.
- 2/5 Train
From Church Ave, Beverly Rd, or Newkirk Ave, ride north to Sterling St (direct, no transfer), or transfer to the 3 at Franklin Ave for Kingston Ave
- B44 Bus
Nostrand Ave, direct route north, stops a few blocks from our office
- B41 Bus
Runs on Flatbush Ave; transfer to the 2/5 at Church Ave or walk east from Prospect Park
- Q/B Train
Church Ave station, transfer to the 2/5 northbound
The 2/5 express stops make Flatbush one of the fastest-connected neighborhoods to our office.
Driving: street parking is usually available on Carroll Street and the surrounding blocks, and there is a municipal lot on Rogers Avenue. The office is at 1398 Carroll Street, between Kingston and Brooklyn Avenues.
In person or by video
Every clinician sees clients both ways. In person means our office in Crown Heights, about 15 min from Flatbush on the 2/5 Train. By video means a secure link, a private room wherever you are, and the same clinician, the same session and the same insurance.
Many people do both: in person to start, video in the weeks when getting across Brooklyn is the thing standing between them and the session. You choose each time you book, not once.
Who you might see
Clinicians whose profiles list the work highlighted on this page. The office matches you after a short call, so this is who works in these areas, not a menu.
