Crown Counseling serves Bronx residents through secure telehealth sessions, removing transportation barriers that can make accessing mental health care difficult. Our therapists provide culturally responsive care for the Bronx's diverse communities. We accept Medicaid, Healthfirst, MetroPlus, Fidelis, and other plans commonly used in the Bronx, and many clients pay $0 copay.
How video sessions work
Our clinicians are licensed in New York State, so a client in The Bronx gets the same therapist, the same session and the same insurance coverage as someone walking into our Crown Heights office. Before each appointment we send a secure link. You need a camera, a connection and a door that closes.
If you ever want to come in, you can. Most sessions are by video. For occasional in-person visits: 2/5 Train: Direct from any Bronx 2/5 station to Sterling St, or transfer to the 3 at Franklin Ave for Kingston Ave. 4 Train: Ride to Franklin Ave in Crown Heights, transfer to the 3 for one stop to Kingston Ave.
